Powell: I Never Seek Meetings With Any President

NEW YORK (CryptoTrendLens.blogspot.com) – On Wednesday, Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell stated that he does not actively seek meetings with any U.S. presidents and that whenever these encounters have taken place, they were initiated by the elected leaders seeking dialogue.

“I have never requested an audience with any president and I never will,” Powell stated during a press conference after the conclusion of the Fed’s policy-determining committee meeting. “There has never been a justification for me to request such a meeting; it has consistently been the opposite.”
