EU Chief von der Leyen: Only Heading to White House for Tariffs Negotiations

BRUSSELS (CryptoTrendLens.blogspot.com) - In response to being referred to as a "fantastic person" by U.S. President Donald Trump on Thursday, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen stated on Friday that she would travel to the White House solely to find a resolution regarding trade tariffs.

"I believe I engaged in productive discussions with President Trump over the phone and at the Pope’s funeral, however, when visiting the White House, I aim to bring forth an actionable proposal for us to deliberate. This must be specific, and my expectation is to reach a consensus on a mutually acceptable resolution,” she stated at a press briefing.
